A little bit about me…

 I am 30 years old, I live in South Australia, and I am an operations manager of a wholesale business. I love the beach and enjoy taking our golden retriever fur-baby to the ocean for a swim or a long walk with a coffee in hand. I am a sport enthusiast. You’ll find me running, strength training, kicking a football or occasionally playing basketball. On the other hand, I love cooking and date nights with pasta and red wine on the weekends.

Our approach to planning…

To create an elegant, modernised style wedding, but to also let the stunning venue of Eurilla Estate speak for itself. We wanted our guests to take in the scenery and have an unforgettable experience. It truly was a magical day and there was so much love all around us.

Started our ceremony early! This gave us more time together on our wedding day instead of feeling rushed (we did not do a first look so I highly recommend an early ceremony). Everyone was also able to relax and enjoy the day.

When I look back on the day now I feel…

So grateful we were able to create the wedding of our dreams. I also believe it was meant to be, finding such a beautiful venue 10 months before our day due to a cancellation. It was perfect in every way.

A word of advice to new brides would be...

As difficult as it feels at the time, try to enjoy the process. It’s the happiest day of your life & there are so many exciting parts to planning a wedding. I personally loved choosing rings, practicing our first dance, shopping for bridesmaid dresses etc. The day is over before you know it. Also to organise as much as you can early on. I highly recommend booking a wedding planner or coordinator to assist you through the process.

My Homebodii moment was special because I wore…

The most stunning lace bridal robe and felt incredibly beautiful in it. I cried when I first tried it on, it was such a surreal feeling. I wore the Helena Lace Robe and my bridesmaids wore the Sian Slip in Eggshell Blue with the Luna Robe in Blue.
